The Butcher Block Top, a common European countertop option, has become a hit with the North American design community over the past few years:. Hy-Grade has been building laminated tops for over 20 years using a process that we developed to ensure a countertop that is free of warping, bowing, or splitting.
All of our wood-strip laminations are full length. This means there is no finger jointing thereby resulting in a more stable and beautiful countertop. The glue we use to laminate the lumber together is both food safe and water resistant, making it a great option for both a food prep top or a typical countertop.

Edge Grain – Laminate lumber face to face creating a straight grain pattern (any thickness available)
Flat Grain – Standard (1 ¾” Thick Maximum)
